What should be the next DAY celebration ?
Please express your views abt the next day celebrations or if you have any idea as to what DAY should we celebrate on this tuesday.One suggestion that came up was to celebrate some 60s Day- in which each one of us has to be dressed up in old-fashioned outfits like bell-bottoms and big colors shirts and blah blah...If you have any other idea to celebrate this tuesday ,do share with all of us.Have your say ....

I have an idea about celebrating Twins Day in which every 2 persons should try to match his/her counterpart in every possible way....

I had an idea... like i already told some ppl in class, that the guys can come dressed as commander safeguard, and the girls can be Jarasim :D
Sounds a bit impractical, but all u have to do is that guys can come dressed in white, with a band with "Commander Safeguard" written on it, tied around their heads, and safeguard soap wrapper can be sticken with a scotch tape on ur shirts.
Girls can simply put black or green paint on their faces.

We can also celebrate "JUNGLI" day, and u guys can do all that jungli-pana.
Or we can come dressed up for a birthday party; we can bring those birthday caps and decorate the class with balloons and the like, or even collect Rs.10 from each student and bring a large cake!!
The choices are unlimited but time is running out; we have got to agree on something ASAP.
Plz post ur comments on the forementioned ideas.....

we can celebrate cultural day! boys wearing shalwar qameez or dhoti kurta if they like ;) and girls could wear lehenga, choori dar etc.

Rimsha Farouk too told me about some ideas that sec B and A gals might have been thinking of that are Maulvi Day ,Terrorists Day,shadi day and cheap day but i think since shadi day and cheap day had been already celebrated but maulvi and Terrorist day are not so they should be on top of stack...

Twins Day is very impractical as 2 ppl will hav to get similar pairs of things! Terrorist Day too doesnt sound good! we cant bring guns etc in the campus and theres no other way to show the terror :p well Shadi Day & Cultural Day look awkward as well.. anyways Cheap Day, Kids Day, Jangli Day and Moulvi [sharafat] Day would b much better! and yea.. commander safeguard girl! comeon! keep on thinking.. i do hope u'll reach the lifebuoy one day :p

hey...terrorist day sounded gud to me... i thought ill bring a magnum and a Klashankov and some fire crackers ;)
neways, jokes apart, commander safeguard thing can be put into action (C'mon ppl stop laughing... i know it sounds silly, but it isnt... really)
We ccould chant slogans of "Akar Bakar Bambey Bo... Beemar ue bacche sao(100)"... loll
And instead of shaadi day, i think Mayoon or mehendi day wud be more of a fun. guys could dress in white shalwar kameez wid yellow dupattas, and some of us could bring Dhol, Dafli, Mehendi, diya, etc and sing shaadi waale songs...

i also suggested celebrating "Urbane day" where everyone cud dress up to look chic, urbane and mod( but then most of us usually dress up that way).
and another suggestion i have is Fusion day, in which people dress up in such a way that you combine eastern and western wear (i.e fusion of eastern and western fashion). like ur dressed in half eastern and half western, e.g boys can wear a dhoti and a coat;) girls wearing hot jackets wid shalwars and blah blah blah
Ghararas and shararas with boots and chic classes... etc etc

Mayun or mehndi day cant b celebrated as da dress code will den b quite similar wid dat of basant day.Dun worry Hina,da Dhol,Dafli n Shadi walay songs r still gonna b retained in da theme:)

i dont think we can celebrate tapori day, as we are already celebrating cheap day, and there's not much difference b/w the two... Lets try sumthing different.
I think Rabia's idea of Baby's day Out shud be materialized... that'll be fun

And hey... how abt a joint Rally encompassing BE students from System, Electronix and Electrical. its sumthing that has never been done before and will be allot of fun... I discussed my plan with some other students as well and they too liked the idea. maybe its time to show a little unity ;-)

No shoaib, we cant chant slogans for one of the three departments; it has to be sumthing that does not just cover one dept, but all three. maybe abt NED in general, or anything else u can think of ;)
Btw... convey this idea to ur frnz in EL and EE to get their opinion on tha subject as well....

after witnessing the highly intolerable and exasperatingly cheap attitude of the BE students of Electrical in particular on saturday, the idea of joint rally has been dropped and the topic closed for further discussion..
